And this time round it got approved !!!
Happy I should be, but am not :(
Why?
Coz my son has already established a routine in his current school.
Coz he has to go through the whole orientation thingy again.
Coz we have already spent a few hundred ringgit for school fees such as computer, books, uniforms, etc etc.
Sending him to his current school.. although is about 25km away, but with the highway takes me less than 30 minutes to arrive. Sure it takes a lot on toll and gas but its stress free as the highway seldom gets jammed up unless there is an accident (touch wood) or heavy down pour.
The new school... sigh...
he will need to make new friends,
get familiar with the new environment.. not to mention new RULES!
He has to get to know his teachers (his current school... most of the teachers know him after last's years accident)
Plus am not very familiar with the route to the new school. It will be a lot of windy road going thru housing areas and of course this area is so famous for its traffic. Sigh.
Honestly... am not looking fwd to it :(
I dunno wat to do?
To change school or not?
We need to decide by this weekend.
What do you think??
If he's prettymuch settled down and you don't mind the long drive, toll etc etc, then don't change... Changing scools is stressful for the kid... imagine that someone forcefully force you to change jobs just because it is more convenient for them... i guess you won't like it too right? well, just my two cents :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jac. I feel strongly abt changing schools but hubby says its for the better. He says Big G is still small so its best to change now. But as a Mommy, I pity Big G as I know how stressful it will be for. He's not exactly the extrovert type, so am kinda worried there. Sigh. Hubby is adamant while Big G keeps saying NO! I really dunno wat to do :( *faint*
