Anakku Merdeka Contest

Posted by Me at 9:54 AM

Kami bangga menjadi anak Malaysia kerana.... "walaupun berbilang bangsa dan agama, kita senantiasa hidup dengan aman dan makmur"

This is soooo true for me and I also hope so for my kids.
My hubby is a Chinese and I myself am a Malaysian born Filipino from Sabah.
I grew up in a kampung where all my friends were mainly the natives and malays.
Despite us being of different race and religion, we all lived harmoniously.
We ate together, we played together. We practically lived our lives together!!
We love and respect each other so much.
I have 3 best friends back home. One malay, one kadazan and one iban. And me, a filipino.
We still keep in close touch until now :)
Lovely isn't it?

When I came to KL, my friends are mostly chinese.
At work, most of my colleagues were Indians from India!
But my best friend here is a malay. She's the bestest of all friend ... love ya babe !!!

So you see... we are really sooo lucky that everyone can really live in such a harmonious country. I myself am so glad to be born a Malaysian.
I was given the chance to move overseas. To migrate to US.
But my heart is here.
Am truly a Malaysian !!

And check out my Little G, who is 4yr by the way ...

... dengan megahnya dia mengibarkan jalur gemilang negara kita yang tercinta!!!

And yes, he is in my car !! He actually asked me to wind down the window so he could fly the flag. He was so happy and kept shouting "MERDEKA!! MERDEKA!!!"
Adorable isn't it? Look at his cheeky smile. Hehehe.

Anyway, if you'd like to join this contest, you still can.
